Community Service .

Junior high students are required to do community service hours each trimester. These students go above and beyond the required hours because the students are very passionate about helping others. Students have helped in local hospitals, convalescent homes, libraries, homeless shelters, and animal shelters. 

Throughout the year, students partake and/or create social justice events, as well as help in various charities. Organizations that we aid include, but are not limited to Missionary Childhood Association, Children's Hospital, Homeboy Industries, Hope Net, and Covenant House. Students have written letters to government officials regarding social causes, such as helping put a stop to the slaughtering of dolphins. Students have written and taken cards to the CEO of Hershey's Chocolate to encourage them to partake in Fair Trade practices. Service projects are done throughout the school each trimester.

Students at IHM are driven and motivated to help those less fortunate. They exemplify true Christian stewards.
